Breakfast with the Grinch at Confisco Grille

Welcome to my flashback Friday post. I’m flashing back to December 2011 again and writing a quick post about Breakfast with the Grinch at the Confisco Grille in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

I’m not really a fan of breakfast buffets so I was not expecting this to be great at all. I was pleasantly surprised. When we arrived at the Confisco Grille we were seated and right away greeted by Papa Schmoo Who. Papa had bells for the kids to play with and he spent a lot of time talking with the boys.

There was another who walking around but he never came over to our table. I did get a picture of him though as he was walking by with the Grinch.

The Grinch also spent quite a lot of time at our table. He sat down and even stole our camera. Connor really enjoyed interacting with him.

Besides the Grinch we also the Cat in the Hat but he basically just came over, signed autographs, took a picture and left.

Items on the buffet included your typical breakfast items as well as a few special items like mini green egg and ham sandwiches and Christmas tree rice krispies treats. The hash browns were also star shaped. I was really surprised at how fresh and hot everything was.

I was really impressed by this breakfast and would definitely do it again. Not only was the food good but so were Papa Schmoo Who and the Grinch. They really made the breakfast great.
