Loew’s Royal Pacific Resort is a South Seas themed resort at Univeral Orlando. This was our first time ever staying at a Universal resort. It was also only the boys’ 2nd visit to Universal. The first time they visited they were 2 and 5 and we stayed off property.
Loew’s Royal Pacific Resort is a Premier hotel. The big perk that comes with staying at a premier hotel is that it includes free Universal Express Unlimited. This allows guests to skip the regular lines on participating rides.
We stayed in a club level 2 queen room. The room is a pretty standard size; it’s not big but it’s not too small. You’ll find the exotic South Seas theme of the resort is seen throughout the room. The room felt modern and sleek to me with a color scheme of mostly grey with pops of orange/coral and blue/green.
Upon walking into the room, you’ll enter a small hallway with a closet to one side and the bathroom on the other. The vanity area of the bathroom is open to the hallway and the shower and toilet are separate.
I really like the look of the entire bathroom. The shower is really nice and has a ceiling to floor accent. The mirror above the sink is an oval mirror with a really fun frame. I also really love the flower carving on the wood under the sink. There is also a full-length mirror on the side wall and a makeup mirror.
The standard amenities were provided- shampoo, conditioner, and a bar of soap, but cotton balls and cotton swabs were also provided. I always love it when hotels provide those.
In the main part of the room, the 2 queen beds were on one side with a nightstand. Between the outlets, USB port on the nightstand, and the iHome clock radio, there were plenty of options for charging devices. There was also a little bottle of hand sanitizer provided along with a notepad and pen.
For lighting, both beds had reading lamps on the side by the nightstand. There were also 3 really fun drop lights over the nightstand and another lamp in the corner by the window.
On the side across from the beds there was the dresser with the TV, mini fridge, and coffeemaker. In addition, there was also an ottoman, a desk, and a mirror.
Our view was just the standard view, I think. The room description didn’t mention the view. I assume it was a standard view, however it definitely was not a bad view. We basically had a city view. We could see a bit of a parking lot and the highway. The view also consisted of a pond from our hotel along other hotels including Universal’s Endless Summer Resort directly across the highway.
This was a really nice hotel, and we all enjoyed our stay here. Be on the lookout for a separate post detailing the club lounge.
Have you ever stayed at any of the Universal Orlando Resort hotels?
