For our one night in Alpine, Texas we stayed at The Holland Hotel. The Holland Hotel is a historic hotel in downtown Alpine. The hotel was built in 1928 and has 27 rooms.
We stayed in a deluxe king with living room. Our room was at the end of a hallway. Upon entering the room you will have the living room to the left and a little hallway to the right.
In the hallway there was a storage space on one side and then the bathroom across. There was also another door. I’m not sure what it was but maybe it could be a connecting room.
The bathroom was not big. There was a tub, the toilet, and a single sink.
In the living room there was a bar area right as you walk in. It had a table with a sink and next to that was a bar with 2 stools. The rest of the living room had a dresser with a mini fridge in one of the cabinets, 3 chairs, a desk with a chair, a coffee table, and a sofa bed.
The bedroom consisted of one king bed, a table, and nightstands. There was a tv in both the living room and the bedroom.
The Holland Hotel does provide a small breakfast. There is coffee, juice, milk, oatmeal, cereal, and fruit. There is also an onsite restaurant as well as a spa and salon. We also saw a pool table and a courtyard. The hotel does not have a pool, but they do allow guests to swim at their sister property, Maverick Inn. Also worth mentioning, the only parking available is street parking. We were able to get parking in front of the hotel though and were able to easily walk to restaurants, street art, and the movie theater.
This was a good choice of hotel for our stay in Alpine. I always book the larger rooms when I can, and we really enjoyed the spaciousness of our room.
