Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe
The boys and I attended a preview this week of a new restaurant in San Antonio, TX. Sweet Paris Creperie & Café has opened up a new location at The Shops at La Cantera. Sweet Paris was founded in 2012 in Houston and the San Antonio location is their 8th location.

As the name suggests, the restaurant is Parisian inspired and features savory, sweet, and breakfast crepes. You will also find a variety of omelettes, paninis, salads, soup, and waffles on the menu. There is also a wide variety of beverages, both hot and cold.

We tried 2 of the savory and 2 of the sweet crepes, the Chicken Carbonara, Philly Cheesesteak, Bonne Maman, and Nutella Banana. All 4 were really good but my favorites were the Chicken Carbonara and Bonne Maman. The Chicken Carbonara has grilled chicken, mozzarella, bacon, parmesan, and cream sauce. I don’t normally like bacon in things and I would have preferred this with no bacon but it was still really good.

The boys also got Very Berry Milkshakes. They said these were really yummy. They loved the “crown” of berries around the top.

Besides the food, what makes Sweet Paris stand out is that they have partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank for an ongoing campaign where they will be donating a portion of their restaurant sales to programs that will provide meals for kids. They are also donating part of their grand opening proceeds to the not-for-profit Culinaria.
We can’t wait to go back to try out more of the delicious crepes!
