CALF 2016 featured Mark Teague as the featured illustrator. We started off our first day at a reading at the Abilene Public Library. The Creeper we found from the previous year was still there but there was a new addition, a spider.
The boys were ready for Italian Ice right after the library. They look forward to it every year.
Our next reading took place at the Center for Contemporary Arts. This year’s book was The Flying Dragon Room. The room and entrance were decorated accordingly. This is always such a fun room to look at!
The boys decided to make the dragon craft after the reading.
Our last stop of the day was the character meet and greet.
