The featured author/illustrator for 2015 was David Shannon. His books include No, David!, Duck on a Bike, and A Bad Case of Stripes.

We started our morning off at another new addition to the CALF, the Kornpop Balloon Show. He does balloon creations and some magic tricks. The boys ended up with some balloon dogs.
Every year the boys look forward to having Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice but this year they decided to try out the Kona Ice and we also grabbed a hot dog from the food trucks to share while we waited for our time to ride the train.

After lunch we took pictures with a lot of the sculptures for the scavenger hunt and went to some of the readings.
After all of our sculpture hunting, the boys decorated cookies at McKay’s Bakery.
We ended our day at Frontier Texas! where they were showing Frozen on a big inflatable screen outside. We didn’t stay for the movie but we did take a picture with Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff.
