Enchant Christmas Light Maze

My absolute favorite event we attended on our Texas Christmas road trip was Enchant in Arlington. Inside Enchant you’ll find a Christmas Light maze, food trucks, an ice skating rink, and the Texas Christkindl Market.

Enchant was a new event for this past year. We had plans to visit Arlington anyways for the Texas Christkindl Market but I was even more excited when I found out that the market was going to be part of this larger event.

We started off in the The Great Search Christmas Light Maze. If you’ve been in a corn maze during the fall this is similar but in my opinion so much more fun.

There were different sections in the maze and the lights were beautiful. There were giant trees, icicles, ornaments, and tunnels.

The boys were given a card with scratch-off circles for each of the 9 reindeer. The goal was to find each reindeer in the maze. At each reindeer there was a booth with coins for scratching off that reindeer’s circle. Once you find them all, you turn your card in for a prize. The prize was a candy cane. We had so much fun navigating the maze and searching for the reindeer. The first reindeer we found was Cupid. Rudolph was the last one we found. We had a little bit of trouble finding him and it turned out that he was right where we had started. We passed by him without even knowing.

I put each of the reindeers names on their picture but there are 3 that I’m not sure of- Prancer, Vixen, and Comet.

After finishing the maze we decided to eat. We had VIP tickets which included a dinner buffet in a heated tent. The buffet featured Mrs. Claus’s Salad Bar, Soup Du Jour (which was Tomato Basil Bisque), several entrees including a special buffet section for kids, and Santa’s Sweets.

Once we were done eating we were ready to check out the Texas Christkindl Market. We saw tabletop German Christmas Pyramids. We had seen a giant version in Fredericksburg a few weeks before. There were also plenty of German made ornaments and clocks. The boys were excited to buy some of the ornaments. They also bought some small glass animals and wooden toys from a booth that sold items from Ukraine. At least I think it was Ukraine. We asked but I can’t quite remember now.

We loved Enchant. It was really so much fun. If you get a chance to visit, I highly recommend it.

Have you ever been to a Christmas light maze?
