Dining Inside a Gingerbread House at the Great Wolf Lodge
Have you ever eaten inside a gingerbread house?
We got to have lunch inside one at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas. I remembered reading that they did this during the holidays, so when we started planning our Texas Christmas road trip, I knew that this was something we had to do this.
The life size gingerbread house was fenced in by a white fence and was surrounded by snow and trees with twinkling lights.
The gingerbread house was decorated with candy both inside and out. There was a single table with room for 6 inside the house. There was also a fake fireplace with stockings and a TV over the mantle. They were going to put on a movie for us but it never got turned on.
The menu we were given was from the Lodge Wood Fire Grill. The boys ordered burgers. I ordered the mushroom risotto and my mom ordered the salmon.
It was so much fun to eat inside the gingerbread house. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
