My mom’s 60th birthday was this May and to celebrate my mom, the boys, and I went on a multi-state road trip.
We started at about 6:30 in the morning and made it to Sulphur Springs, Tx just in time for lunch.
We found ourselves in the Celebration District of Sulphur Springs. We took a look around the square and JT picked Arturo’s Wood Fired Pizza Gallery to eat at. He loves pizza.
We really enjoyed the open air atmosphere of Arturo’s. We chose a table against the wall near the entrance and we were able to watch people walking by. They even put a table outside at one point for people to eat at. We were also easily able to see the pizzas being made in the brick wood ovens.
The boys ordered Italian Creme Sodas to drink and we ordered the Crack’l Bread as an appetizer. The boys only wanted pepperoni on the pizza so we ordered half pepperoni and half pepperoni, onion, green pepper, and mushrooms.
We all enjoyed the food. My mom is not a big fan of pizza but she really liked this one. She also loved the Crack’l Bread and still talks about it.
Once we left Arturo’s, we stopped at Sweet N Salty for some popcorn and candy.
We didn’t stay in Sulphur Springs long but we really liked the Celebration District. It’s a cute town and there are plenty of restaurants and shops to check out.
Make sure to check out our next stop- Texarkana.
