Review- Brilliant Chef Silicone Muffin Pan Bundle

Earlier this month we received a really nice muffin pan set from Brilliant Chef. The bundle includes a 12 cup muffin/cupcake pan, 50 paper cupcake liners, a spatula, and a pastry brush.

I’ve been curious about silicone bakeware so I was excited to try this out. We did receive this set for free but as always all opinions are my own honest opinions.

The boys were excited when this arrived as well. They love getting items for cooking and baking. We received this set just in time for Valentine’s and the cupcake liners were decorated with hearts so we were able to use them to make Valentine cupcakes.

Normally I like to use the type of spatula that comes with the set to frost cupcakes. However, I typically use smaller size ones and I felt that this one was too big for that so I let the boys use it to mix the batter. It actually worked really well and our cupcake batter came out nice and smooth.

The only concern I had about the pan was how to move it into the oven once the cupcake batter was in. I was unsure of how to hold so that it wouldn’t flop. It took a little practice but I was able to figure it out and by the third batch of cupcakes I was able to move it easily from the counter and into the oven.

Some other great things about this pan are that it is very easy to clean. If anything spills it wipes up easily. The pan also cools down quickly. This is great because I was able to grab it without oven mitts shortly after I took it out of the oven so that I could do the next batch of cupcakes. I also have to say that I personally love that the pan is pink.

I think that this would make a really nice gift for anyone that likes to bake. It’s also great for yourself as well. This will be our go to muffin pan from now.
