If your kids are anything like mine they are really interested in coding and programming. Code Master by ThinkFun is a programming logic game that gives them intro into the coding/programming world.
We were fortunate to receive a free copy of the game in exchange for our honest review.
The boys were very excited when the game arrived. The first thing that caught their eye was the word code and the fact that the images are Minecraft looking. The game is a single player game but it can also be played with a partner. I think the boys may have only done that once or twice. They were happy playing by themselves.
The contents of the game include the map book, the scroll guides, action tokens, conditional tokens, your avatar, the portal, and crystals.
The goal of the game is to get your avatar to the portal by running, jumping, and sliding while picking up all crystals along the way. There are 60 levels that go from beginner to expert. The boys and I are still on the beginner levels but we already seeing challenges. The game is really fun to play. Not only are the boys liking it but I’m enjoying it as well. The boys both rated Code Master on a scale from 1 to 10 as a 10 and I think that I have to agree.
Here’s the description of the game from ThinkFun as well as the link:
