Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg is one of the books in the Terry Treetop series by Tali Carmi. The series is centered around nature and animal habitats.
In this book Terry finds a lost egg and goes on to search for its mom. While Terry goes on his search kids are introduced to several animals. They get to see a little of the habitat that the animal lives in as well as learn a bit about each animal’s eggs and how they are taken care of.
I think that Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg is a cute book with bright illustrations. The only complaint I have is that the rhyming is off at times and the writing is a little rough in the beginning but regardless it’s still a cute story. Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg is a good introduction for young kids to learn about animals, their habitats, and their babies.
JT Says:
Did you have a favorite part or a favorite picture? My favorite part was all of it. I really liked the part with the baby chick; he was so cute.
What did you think the egg was going to be? A bird.
What would you do if you found an egg? I would take it with me and hatch it into a sea dragon.
Would you want to read any of the other Terry Treetop books? Yes.
If you’re interested in checking out Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg I believe you can still get it for free on Amazon.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
