Welcome back to Flashback Friday! If you read last week’s post, you’ll know that back in March of 2010 we went on a trip for my mom’s graduation. I wrote about our first stop last Friday and today we’re moving on to Phoenix.
When we arrived in Phoenix we checked in to our hotel. We originally wanted to stay at the hotel that was the hotel for the graduation, but it was full when I called to book so we ended up staying at the Hyatt Place.
As you can see from the picture, Connor was super excited to check into the hotel. This was our first time staying at a Hyatt Place and I really liked it. All the rooms are suites and the boys like that extra space to play. Once we were all setup at the hotel, we drove over to the Desert Botanical Garden which was pretty close to our hotel. They are open until 8pm which is great because it enabled us to do something that day. On the other hand, it got dark and I had trouble taking pictures. I took several pictures of everything and used several different settings to try to get a good picture. I’ll start off with the pictures I took while I still had some daylight.
Now here are some of the nighttime pictures I took.
We really enjoyed the Desert Botanical Gardens. It’s very different from other botanical gardens we been to and really showcases the beauty of the desert. I just wish I had better pictures to show. There are more but they are so blurry. These are the best ones I have. If we go back to Phoenix I would love to go again.
Have you ever been to the Desert Botanical Garden?
