Review- Johnsonville Grillers

*Disclosure: I was given a coupon for a free box of Johnsonville Grillers in order to sample and review. All statements are my own honest opinions.*

We were given a coupon for a free box of Johnsonville Grillers to sample. There are several different flavors of the Grillers and I decided on the Steakhouse Onion.

The Grillers come in a box of six patties and can be cooked on the grill, stove, or broiler. They cook up fairly quickly no matter which method you choose. I believe they cook in about 15 minutes or less for all three methods. I opted for broiling them because I didn’t feel like putting them on the grill and also I love broiling meat. Actually I also love broiling vegetables. I’m a big fan of broiling. It’s simple, quick, and everything always comes out great.

The grillers smelled really good as they were cooking and ended up being nice and charred.

I do have to say that they were just a little bit greasy. Not a lot; just a tiny bit. I had mine with cheese, sauteed onions, spinach, pickles, avocado, mayo, and mustard.

After trying them I think that they are okay. The flavor is fine but what I don’t like is the texture. I didn’t like the feel of the patties as I bit into my burger. I can’t seem to think of a good way to describe it or even anything I could compare it to but I just didn’t like it.

Connor said that he liked his burger and he thought it was good. I’m not sure what JT thought but he didn’t eat much of his.

So overall these were okay but I don’t think I would buy them again.

Who else has tried Johnsonville Grillers? What did you think?
